On this week’s podcast, Bill Burr talked about attending the Alabama/LSU game:
I didn’t like the way the Alabama fans dressed. It reminded me of TCU, “C’mon Frogs!” Where they do that crap where they all dress like these junior banker date rapists. They go to a football game, right? They wear Dockers, boat shoes, and then they have like a rough ridin' polo shirt that they tuck in. I swear to God, it’s like, “Are you serious right now? You’re from Alabama! Who are you kidding?” I can see if you took off your Alabama crap and you went to someplace else and tried to pull it off, but eventually people are gonna know that you’re from Alabama. And don’t even eff with me. I’ve been to Alabama - the “civilized” parts. I didn’t go down to Macon or Mobile or all that rough ridin' crap where... I don’t even think they know Martin Luther King’s dead yet. They’re probably still having rough ridin' meetings...”We gotta get ‘em! Why you think they took over the NBA?! He’s gotta be somewhere! He’s like Elvis - he ain’t dead yet!”
