I know it may be hard for some folks to believe, but the Disciples of Christ churches are not fundamentalist creationist congregations.  Virtually everyone believes in evolution and real science.  There are also gay and lesbian pastors within the denomination that are accepted for who they are as people, not ostracized by a label.

That's the truth.  I used to catch those bastards all the time, as well as those collared lizards.  Damn things would NOT eat.  You could put all kinds of bugs and crap in there, and they'd just stubbornly wither up and die.  I think I killed more of those things than DDT.

Keep in mind I was probably 8 at the time.  No one was entrusting me with baby humans.
