well, well, well.  looks like the turks aren't the only ones jealous of the greeks hogging all the credit for their shared foods.  don't get mrs. rex started on feta, amirite?  imrite.

she puts together a pretty good rant about alleged Lebanese restaurants in DC that are really just Greek or Turkish.

Both were fantastic.

fage is the best, because it's good and because you have control over how much of the fruit syrup stuff you want to mix in and whether you want to mix it completely or leave it non-homogenous for a more varied eating experience.  i like to start out with little fruit, then save up a lot of fruit for the last spoonful.

you don't want to overfruit the last spoonful, though.  because that's gross and you don't have any spoonfuls left to get the taste out of your mouth.  it's an art.

With the fruit, I could see this, but the honey....oh man, the honey is fantastic.

fun fact - I hadn't thought of tipping the fage second compartment up to dump the fruit/honey into the yogurt until I went looking for images. I had just scooped it out with a spoon.

Also, the cold honey is kind of difficult to pour/spoon.

Mrs Rex says it was probably a Kurd or a Druze. They are notorious for this kind of bullshit.

just look for the best, healthiest, most ripped coworker you have and you've found your thief.  i would bet that his/her lats and his traps are both incredible.

This perfectly fits the Kurd/Druze profile, FYI.

I could, but this would result in a lot of "polak walks into a bar" type jokes (but with Kurds/Druze) and a "damnit guys" from SD. pro-tip: these are no more clever in Arabic than in English.

i buy the plain fage 32 ouncer or whatevs at costco. i also get some ed smith fruit spread in the next aisle over. then i mix in gradually as i go. it will last you the whole work week and no worries about somebody making off with it.
