I think McCarron is a pretty good QB, but Bama could honestly have won every game up to LSU without him (or anyone else) throwing a pass. He does what he's supposed to do, but I'd hardly call him outstanding.

It's been stated in this thread before but is still worth repeating: he had a bad game. He had one good drive at the end but did nothing that any decent qb couldn't have done--LSU for some reason decided to play 10-15 yards off every receiver every single play even though it super duper wasn't working.

The crying was pathetic. I think even his teammates were laughing at him.

In the postgame "analysts" kept explaining it as "this kid just knew he would be tested at some point and he'd have to prove himself and boy did he do it! You got to love the emotion! This guy has reached Namath status in Tuscaloosa."

Good for you AJ, the one drive you'll have to engineer for a win this year was successful and the TD pass was a screen to one of your 5 star teammates. Man, you know how to persevere.

He was crying in because he realized he sucks at late and everyone else around him is ten times better than him! Also his mangina is hurt because CK has the heisman wrapped up.

He's slightly above average. Missed a wide open deep route early on that would have put the game in an entirely different tone. LSU stayed in that game by having the athletes to compete with Bama. They lost because of stupid play calling.

I would kill to have the coaching either of those teams have. Auburn rough ridin' blows nowadays, Chizik cannot get fired quick enough.
