Reading that is like listening to a group of teenage girls talking about what they're wearing to school the next day.
Credit where credit is due... this is a pretty awesome gif related to drinking.
Psh, this is football, not a fashion show.

They've shown plenty, especially against the run. If Kansas St beats us, it won't be because they ran all over us. It will be because he threw over the top and we were out of position. And there is no way in hell they are losing by 16...
The coaching staff has shown that they can juggle starting QB's and suffer MAJOR personnel losses yet still win and do so fairly conviencingly. They have shown that after Bill Young returned full time they have done nothing but get better and better every week on defense. Granted we have yet to see the defense REALLY show up on the road but I expect them too on Saturday with all that's on the line. You never know with a true freshmen QB on the road however, but if he doesn't get rattled...I think we fare very well and might win.
You can bring up the Arizona game if you want, where we hadn't had our DC in weeks and had to fight the refs, and you can bring up Kansas were we led 20-0 and it was bad weather against a team no one gets up to play...I'll bring up our performance over the past two games, especially opponent adjusted performance (fancy word for comparative scoring and the transitive property). This team has gone from 102nd in defense (FEI FBS games only opponent adjusted performance) to 50ish.
Look at more than the box score. Half of the KU RB's yards came on one play late in the 4th quarter when the d was ready to get out of there. They got 80% of those yards in the 4th after the D packed it in after a shutout first 3 quarters. Against Arizona, BY wasn't with the team and hasn't been with the team.OSU fans are just saying if we stroll in and thump the cats, no one will be surprised.
They don't make you play their game if you don't let them. They are very well coached and don't make many mistakes. However, they haven't had to play catch-up much if at all this year and therefore never had to change their gameplan. In my opinion, OSU has to jump on them early and make them play from behind. Easier said than done for sure but I think it's very possible considering OSU has the better athletes.
I'm in the mindset that we are, and should be the underdog in this game (duh), but that it shouldn't be a shock if we win. Our defensive improvement certainly has something to do with the quality of offenses we just played, but that's not the entirety of it.Is our defense as good as some of the ones KSU has beaten? I'm convinced we are probably better than most of the teams they have played, but not as good as OU on defense. I'm also of the mind that we will easily be the best run game they have seen all season, and it'll have to perform at or above spec for us to win.
If you look at OSU's two losses- we were the better team. Texas we outgained them by 125 yards. We also outgained Arizona in the game as well just had a fumble by RAndle inside our 20- and a couple INTs that went off WRs hands. We were rusty going into Arizona game, period. Also no d-coordinator. Really, we won the Texas game despite not stopping them on 4th and 7 because Texas fumbled and OSU recovered. OSU is really 6-1 and 4-0 in Big 12 play.
I'm not saying OSU will win... but has KState faced a defensive line as good as ours? Honest question. Normally OU has one of, if not the best in the league. But they've had issues this year. Iowa State maybe?

I can agree with that if they can agree that we were actually better than them in Stillwater last season

All white is awesome. That and our Iowa state combo last year.
