This thread reminded me of Dexter Manley testifying before congress that as a graduate of OSU he was functionally illiterate. Apparently, the

attitude that permeates OSU allowed them to use Dexter to get some wins while nobody on campus (including his professors) noticed the Dexter could not read or write.

My first brush with racism was in Stillwater, OK when I was 10 years old. I had to get my haircut while we were visiting my aunt, and the lady cutting my hair asked me where I was from...knowing that she was an inbred hick I decided to make it simple for her, so I said that I was from around Kansas City since she would have no idea that Lawrence, KS was a town (can't really blame her though, crap town, Ts and Ps to the aids ridden hippies there...may God have mercy on their souls). She got this shocked look on her face and told me that she had been to Kansas City once and "They were all over the place." That is when I realized that people in Oklahoma were racist fucks.
