There was a moment in last night's game that it truly hit me that we're stuck with Weber. Rod put up a shot and missed and the ball dropped in the paint and bounced once before a Washburn player grabbed it. About 4 of our players were within 5 feet of the ball and not one made an attempt to get in there and grab it.

same here, man. remember when JO shot that shot, but missed it? and then oscar kept him on the floor and didn't scream in his face and then yank him immediately? it was then that i knew it was all over for us.

What stat(s) are going to drive success? Will it simply just be eFG? I have no idea what I was looking at last night (however, all I saw was about 10minutes total of the game).

Yeah, I think eFG% will be big on both sides of the ball. I'm not sure on the rest yet, it would seem that oscar wants to play a lot faster here than he did at Illinois. He played faster at S Illinois, so I'm not surprised by that.

Honestly, I'm going to track ADV stats to get a picture, but I think its silly to take too much from a game vs Washburn. In a month after we play the preseason NIT games we'll have a pretty good picture, and we should know quite a bit going into Big 12 play after Gonzaga and Florida in December.

This is what I am afraid of. It is just one exhibition game, so I'll give oscar the benefit of the doubt, but if this is a trend we will not win as much.
