Girl gets abandoned by her family for her own protection.
Girl grows up to be a bad ass.
Girl gets unwittingly pulled into the rebellion and saves everyone....

Something seems very familiar about this.

Oh also, the girl has a 3 letter name.

I remember thinking The Village was the most awesome trailer I had ever seen and then the movie was M Night Shyamalan pooping on screen for 106 minutes so sometimes trailers that rock your socks don't mean the movie is good.

That trailer wasn't that good.  Force Awakens and first Rogue 1 trailers were easily better.

Although it's really a matter of opinion.  I'm sorry for my snarky comment mocat.  That's the last thing our partisan, divided America needs right now.  Although I disagree with your statement I will respect to the death your right to say it.

I think most fans are very ready for a big screen interpretation of what Imperial occupation looked like during that period.

You see it in cartoon/CGI form during Rebels, but those scenes looked fantastic.

And, yes, I watch it all because I'm a massive Star Wars dork.

Not a huge star wars fan. The trailer looked fine, but my god they are milking the death star.

Are the people in Star Wars human beings?  Or just aliens that look like human beings?

So like, some are humans and some are human-looking aliens?  Or they are all a hybrid of humans and human-looking aliens?
