if you were having someone watch star wars for the first time ever irl...

would you have them watch the original trilogy first or second? discuss.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I am going to watch all the movies over Thanksgiving.   I will probably whizz myself when the new one starts.

why would you stop between 5 and 6??

-you can't watch 6 until you've seen 1, 2, and 3 (because teenage angsty anakin shows up at the end of 6, and also because the end of 6 is a great way to end the whole thing).

-and you can't watch 1, 2, and 3 before 5 (because it would ruin the huge reveal in 5)

-4 is the best way to begin

456123 as they were made and intended.

I've watched it both ways...in creation order originally, and then in numerical order with my wife, and creation order is better.

In Empire, I didn't get how the walking guy landed so quickly. Seems like it would be complicated!

ive been thinking about this for quite awhile now but must finally concede that i have no clue what you are talking about

ewoks, basically tailless squirrels that killed one of those two legged walking guys with sling shot rocks. technology can solve a lot of our problems but never all of them guys.
