Louisiana license plates have the same three letters/three numbers thing that Kansas ones do. A very common generic three letter combo on Louisiana license plates is TSC.

just saw a car here in Denver that had a huge AST sticker on the back window for some reason. Immediately thought of @alexandersupertramp, which made me think of the smoking/grilling thread, which led to a trip to the store, which led to my plans this Sunday.
