Interior Defensive Line. I know we've discussed this before but I was very concerned about them coming in. They have been nails.

Yeah, I'd just say the defense in general. I mean, they were really bad at times last year.

Enjoy it while you can, folks.  Next year might be a little sketchy.  But lets not think about that right now.

The Coaching staff? Cox, Hayes, Dickey. They seem to be doing pretty good.

every aspect of our defense cept linebackers.  our secondary scared the crap out of me after mo state but they've played really well since then.

Dickey was no surprise.  We've seen the development of the Oline since he arrived.

Was it Blackmon and Bryant that you were hearing good things about in August?  Can't remember which two...that seems to be spot on.

on offense - it's hard to pick just one. i would have to say the pleasant surprise is that seemingly EVERYONE improved from last year.

on defense - Milo. this guy is is a walk-on from butler juco that was on no one's radar last year. guy is a stud tackler.

It's got to be the offensive line and the defensive line. It's also nice to finally have a safety in Zimmerman who doesn't get worse every year he plays.

Secondary. Really impressed by 1y and Milo's development. I was expecting them to be torched deep numerous times vs WVU.

1y is getting so good that we expect him to intercept to ball once or twice a game.  It's getting so routine that we're don't get excited anymore for what he has done for the team.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

The complete lack of gimmick plays (except for "The Play") is a pleasant surprise. I don't even recall if we ran the Wildcat with a RB taking the snap all year. No rb's or wr's throwing the ball. It is awesome just to see this group line up and play without the gimmicks!

it would be pretty stupid because our QB is one of our best runners and any RB we put in there would be a worse passer than our QB
