Rhodes is such a loser

Is Paul Rhodes the losery-est loser of all of Loserville? I think the case can be made.

His QBs and ISU fans are close.

Absolutely.

And Iowa State hired signed their soul away for him.  So they're stuck with that loser forever.

If ISU scores another TD is this game an official "moral victory/win" for them?

Should our derisive nickname among opposing fanbases be Super Bowl Aggie?

Rhodes is going to Rhodes. On his way to another 3 win (maybe 4) Big 12 season and some 3rd tier bowl game. All to the adoration of the Flood Aggie nation. You go Paul.

His strange Iowan spell has other fanbases taken with him too.  Texans want him to replace Mack.  I think LHC Bill Snyder makes us immune to his charms, even though you'd initially think it would make us more susceptible.

also have to factor in the went 2-10 with chizik the year before rhodes showed up, so 6-6 has to feel pretty good to them.

Wrong!  I have heard many a tuck say they would love Rhodes to take the helm after LHCBS.  :chainsaw: :goodbyecruelworld:

Expecting To Win
It's been many years from when I was an undergrad, but I just love how we are at a point where coaches, players and fans expect us win, no matter who we play. do these guys not realize their entire performance against us last week was completely at  :bill: direction?  I mean how obvious is it that we were gaming for WVU domination instead of playing game tape for them?

It's amazing how low my expectations have been for our QB's over the past years ever since...hell...Seneca. And while Meyer, Arnaud, Jantz, Barnett have all had moments. We just aren't getting better at this postion, we're getting worse. It's just bad that I would take any other Big 12 team's starting QB (other than maybe KU) and quite a few of the team's backups as well over our latest QB's.

Gotta recruit better and it is perplexing why a kid would wanna go elsewhere. Think how beloved a 4 year starting stud QB would be here at ISU rather than riding the pine somewhere else. We're a team who needs to get over a hump to get out of mediocrity and above average (not even dominant) QB play would be enough to get us to 8+ win seasons. but I think for now we are stuck with hoping we can right the ship even just enough to get to a bowl game @ 6 wins and hope you win #7 so you don't end up under .500

boy, this message board is a real treat.
