I liked it when that rebel rainbow guy called us, "bitch aggie." Not entirely representative though, IMO. Troll aggie, perhaps?

let's make friends with this site.  They seem like they could handle it.

Also, what on earth  :sdeek:

I think he's homosexual. I don't get the saying underneath it though.

Sticks not slices?

Hey KStaters.  Looking forward to the game this weekend.  Some links to this site were posted on a Mountaineers fansite (We Must Ignite This Couch) and I thought I could help you out on some things.

First, the flag is a parody of the Confederate Flag, but uses the Rainbow Flag symbolizing gay pride as the backdrop.  WVMtneer is not gay, and he created that flag in response to a poster who used the Confederate Flag as his avatar.

The reference to "sticks not slices" is to pepperoni rolls, which are a big deal in WV.  Italians immigrated to WV and worked in the coal mines, so they made rolls that had pepperoni in them so they could take them down into the mines and eat them easily.  They are still made in bakeries throughout WV, and are also served at the concession stands at the games.  They are either made with pepperoni sticks or pepperoni slices,  There is a running debate on WMITC about which is better.  Obviously he takes the side that sticks are better.  Unfortunately, he is wrong.  They sound kind of gross, but they are awesome if they are made right.  Try them out if you get a chance.

FWIW - WV fans are reeling about last week's debacle, and this is probably why we seem a little touchy.  Plus, all we heard from the other Big 12 fans, who have been awesome, is really really bad things about the Aggies, so people took it as a rather large slight when you introduced yourselves by calling us Aggies.

Hope that isn't TMI; just wanted to answer some of your questions.

Good luck Saturday, but just enough to lose in a close one.

So, WVU invented the Hot Pocket?   :dunno:

Pretty sure that Americans can legitimately blame WVU'ians for 90% of all diarrhea cases since that time.  Those mines must have smelled horrible.

That is probably the deepest cut yet.  Well done, but they are nothing like a hot pocket.

1. gay jokes arent funny
2. calling you coal aggie has nothing to do with aggie aggie

1.  It isn't a gay "joke."  It is making fun of a guy who was a homophobic by putting the Rainbow Pride flag on his Confederate Flag avatar.
2.  I read through the rest of the thread, and I admit I don't get the "aggie" reference.  I figured it meant something else, but I still don't know what it means.  Just telling you why you got the reaction you did from SOME of the folks on the site.

You should try our new hot pocket hot pocket.  It's a hot pocket inside another hot pocket.  It comes with a roll of toilet paper.  Or you can just throw it right in the toilet straight out of the microwave.
