National Championship game this, Dr. Pepper that. Heisman, Efficient Offense, blah, blah, blah. Being in the top 5 of the BCS is the worst. It's the same talking points over and over.

Only the cats and Alabama have gone 6-0 the last 2 years. We are truly blessed. This is the best part of being a sports fan, you guys. So much hope, sky is the limit, everything is in front of us. This is awesome.

We'll just ignore the fact that Alabama is actually an elite program, unlike K-State.

All you need to look at is the following:

National Titles:

Alabama - 14 (and on the road to #15)

K-State - 0

Oh and that you'll be right back at mid-level status without Klein.

I just don't understand the butthurt. I mean, we all knew what was going to happen, it happened, and they can still say that they are proud of their team and how they are doing things the right way and how Paul is fantastic and how they respect him losing closely so often and how he learned his lesson and didn't break his headset this game and how it was classy that Paul took so long at center field to sufficiently brown nose bill.

It all went to script. Given that, how can anyone be butthurt?

I just wanted them to feel better about themselves, but harsh realism is certainly a viable option. No participation medals here.
