That '98 team was ridiculously loaded with talent. This years team is like the Will Spradling of our best teams and the '98 team is Pullen. They are tough, have heart, play smart etc...but ultimately they just don't have the talent to compare to the '98 team.

'98 was Michael Beasley and 2012 is Pullen.

Two things I heard; both from KSU players as they ran to the locker room past the band.

"Time to get the F*** out of Iowa!"

*specifically towards the band* "Wildcat nation, b****."

Classy, cats.

I love when fans get butthurt about players for the other team talking crap after they win.  Classic "I can dish it out but I can't take it" attitude.  I'm sure Flood Aggie fans didn't say anything mean or insulting towards any of our players during the entire game

according to these retards our drive for the fg was the loudest in jack trice history:

http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/football/158496-atmosphere-ksu-drive.html

so we basically just ran it down their throats in front of one of their best crowds ever to get the fg, then held them to two straight four and outs.

this team kicks ass.

That thread is full of moral victories

Today was an actual victory, not a moral victory   :nono:

I know we had an actual victory, I meant all the Flood Aggie fans patting each other's back over how loud their stadium was

The camera was shaking.   :D

What a bunch of rough ridin' dorks

Think how terrifying it was for the people up in the rickety press box.

Man, fall weddings. Only got to watch a portion of the first half, then followed ESPN gamecast with j-dub. Will enjoy watching when its up on youtube.

This team is good though.

It's on platinum.

That '98 team was ridiculously loaded with talent. This years team is like the Will Spradling of our best teams and the '98 team is Pullen. They are tough, have heart, play smart etc...but ultimately they just don't have the talent to compare to the '98 team.

If anything this team is Pullen and the 98' team is Beasley/ Walker.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Problem with that analogy is that the Beasley/Walker team was basically a 2 man team, we were good at almost every position in '98.

The 98 team was kind of like a great football team, and the 12 team is kind of like a great football team, too.

Can you name any teams more talented than the '98 Cats team?

I'll give you one: 2012 OU.
