someone talk me out of this. i mean, bad weather and they are sound fundamentally on defense and it is going to be their largest crowd ever. ever. i don't think we are going to move the ball and they are going to get a couple of big plays on us. crap you guys. seriously. it's going to be like 17-20.

They're ninth in the conference in both yards per carry and yards per pass attempt. In other words their offense stinks. We'll win by 10.

The only person that can ever reasonably calm you down in a situation like this is _FAN but I will do my best.

They have a young QB. Young QB = turnover prone potentially. They put up points on TCU using big plays and getting turnovers. These are two things K-State does not do/allow. TCU has looked like crap anyways and hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse or looked good against anyone at all and that was before they lost their starting QB. TCU will finish 8th or 9th in the conference.

Super efficient offenses and patient offenses are the recipe to score on us. They maybe patient, but are not talented enough to be efficient. Snyder didn't do anything interesting v. KU which means he was planning for this one. Bland game followed by big game is how we seem to work and, although we stomped them, KU was bland game.

Also, common opponent theory says we dominate:

KSU is 5 points better than @ OU
OU is 21 points better than @ Tech
Tech is 11 points better than @ ISU

KSU is 37 points better than ISU (this takes into consideration home/away)

it helps a bit but i'm really worried about our "O" and not our "D". i really think we will be down at half. on a possible muddy field, can we come back? i don't know. i also don't think we didn't do "anything interesting v. ku". i think we did. idk, i'm scared that we are going to be wondering where the "O" went.

I could give you a thousand reasons. We have a future HOF coach, a legit Heisman candidate, a likely 1st round draft choice at linebacker, a monstrous O-line coached by one of the best o-line coaches, speed at all skill positions, a TE that could truck their losery linebackers etc....This team does not lose games to lesser opponents. They just dont. Period. They're too smart, too tough and too disciplined to lose to losery programs like ISU.
