When are they putting Q-Morg, Darren and Jordy up there? Will this be part of the opening of WSC?

I'd like to see Darren and Jordy go in together, but that's just me.

Then Collin and Arthur later.  :gocho:

I don't think Arthur is eligible (along with Bishop, Morgan, etc.) because of their weird rules.

Love that a program built on jucos makes up rules that keep jucos out of their hall of fame thing. Just love it.

i don't think the rules keep jucos out, nor would they keep arthur out. sean was a transfer as well, you know? i do think they make it harder for jucos though and i do think that it's entirely possible that the rules were made up by sean to ensure that he was one of the few to be allowed in.

everyone always said that it was 4 year players that were 1st team AAs. Is that not correct?

that's not correct. i think you just have to have graduated and have been a 1st team AA. sean was a transfer.

Well, I don't even think Darren is technically eligible either, but he'll get in.

Arthur, if he ends up being an All-American, has to go up there.  He's a Kansan.  There's no way they'd leave out a kid from Wichita if he remotely qualified.

that's why he holds the punting yardage record.  garcia has already beaten his punt average career record, but we don't see him in the ring of honor.  wonder why?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

also, and i know this for a fact...kstate used to heat up footballs in a microwave type thing on their sideline during cold games and then insert those balls into the game right before snyder had to punt. they did not offer this to opposing teams. fact.

What is Mark Simoneau's degree in? (I don't think graduation is a pre-req.)

Granted, this is the NFL, but probably safe to say that NCAA kickers used doctored balls too.

that's a pretty neat article but it's also pretty different from what kstate was doing at the time.

kstate would supply ball boys for home games and they would all wear bright green big8 t-shirts. the ball boys were all townie highschool fball players. during a very specific and very cold iowa state night game that was on espn and had snow and sleet, etc. one of the ball boys was given a very specific task to put a ball in a heater type thing and then insert it into the game only when kstate had to punt. the espn sideline guy even asked and questioned the townie kid about what he was doing but he no commented the guy. they didn't offer this to iowa state and i'm reasonably sure that this wasn't common at all during that time frame. funny though and i loved bill for it.
