Only thing that scares me is that we are their superbowl, and apparently Roads has some sort of super villain-like obsession with wanting to beat us.

LE Scouting Report:

1. Wear high waters.

2. Be prepared to deal with idiots.

3. You're not on acid when you see their endzone setup.

Also factoring into this game...Iowa State does not have enough stars
Free edge up to defensive starters when opponents held under 10.

I don't think we can all marvel at this teams resolve and mental toughness and then expect them to look past anyone.

This. I have never understood the "looking ahead" talking point. I don't know how a player, much less a group of players, can practice for a team all week, and just come out and crap the bed. I get it in basketball, there's only a few days between games, but when you only have 12 games in the regular season, and a week to prepare for each one, it doesn't make sense. Unless you're up by a lot of a points and they basically announce you will be going to the NC during the game, then I can see a team shitting the bed.

Guys, Steele Jantz? Really?

Makes much more sense to prep for a guy named Geno.

If there is one thing I know in this entire world it's that Paul Rhodes is a horrendously bad football coach. Sometimes when I watch isu (rarely), I sit in awe of how terrible he is.  Just god awful.

You be nice about Coach Rhodes, he's now 9-17 in conference play. He's gone 3-5, 3-5, 3-6, and now is 0-1. He's just about to get the Clones turned around that corner.

Troy Davis still has his cleats somewhere in his closet.

I say we start preparing for Texas now. Not because we need to, but just because it'd be nice to make a big statement right before the final polls, just in case Oregon, FSU and Alabama are all still undefeated.

True. I really think if Rhodes just keeps sawing wood, eventually he'll surpass Ron's .375 conference winning percentage, maybe even this season.
