Not sure you should have bumped this, holy crap what was that crap you posted last week, wow how stupid.  When the only person backing you up was the band dude you had to know you mumped up, right?

Also this is complete trash
Don't know if already posted, but WVU had been pretty decent against the run.

here's a closer look at the stats, a ranking of the rushing offenses they have faced to this point

Marshall 67th
Maryland 122nd
Baylor 59th
UT 43rd
TT 60th

So they've faced literally the worst rush offense in the FBS.  Tech is 60th after they gashed WVU for 168 yards.  They had less yards than that if you combined their previous two games, 89 yds against OU 2.9 yards a rush and 63 yards against flood aggy "good" for 2.1 ypc.  So long story short, you would be hard pressed to find a team from a BCS conference 6 games into the season that have faced a worse group of rushing teams.

 well,  that's great for kstate.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Did anyone see the halftime interview with WVU's coach? He basically blamed their poor performance on the wind.

What a rough ridin' loser, Texas Tech was playing on the same field and the wind didn't seem to keep Doege from throwing for 500 yards

The key to this game defensively is to stuff Buie. As long as we can shut down the run, they will become one dimensional, and we should be able to stop them on third down and in the red zone.

I think our biggest advantage is the fact that they're coached by Dana Holgerson.

Will they even be ranked after we beat them by 3 TDs?

Nope. See Texas. It might be better for us to just beat them by 1 TD.

Only SEC teams get to keep their rankings due to quality loss merit.  See: Alabama, 2011.

Remember the last time we played a Heisman hyped QB who hadn't thrown an INT yet for the season?

You said the weakness of the team was at linebacker, one of our linebackers is a candidate for Big 12 defensive POY and a potential first team all american.  You tell me what was wrong.

I said that LB was the weakness of our defense, specifically when Childs is in the game. I understand that Arthur is an AA candidate, but even he makes mistakes. I love me some Arthur and the plays that he makes. I do not love Childs.

The only reason I bumped it was because this thread was the only one that was talking schemes and how we match up with WVU.

So prior to Saturday I thought if WV lost it would be horrible for us, but now I am feeling like that is the opposite.  WV should be feeling defeated, lost, and National Title hopes gone...who else thinks this game is going to be a fairly easy win for us?

not sure if its going to be easy, but I have thought all year that we match up pretty well with wvu.  if we can play our ball control offense and bend but don't break defense well, we should be ok. got to stop big passing plays for wvu though.

Would you rather turn it over on downs or punt to Thompson?
