I guess Dave Chapelle has it in his rider that he will only host if A Tribe Called Quest is the musical guest. You can make those kind of demands when nobody else wants to host.

Given that the show is such a mess right now, would you even be surprised if they just did all the same sketches they did "last time" he hosted?

Leslie Jones is alright, but she doesn't have much range. I guess that could be said for a lot of SNL cast though.

lol. Sure thing lib. I like comedy, so I give it a chance, it just under performs these days. I probably watch at least 2 stand up routines every weekend. That's how much I enjoy it.

I think Weekend Update has been really good but I don't know the last time they have had this much material. The guest spots on there have left something to be desired though.

This was the funniest sketch for me in awhile:

I didn't appreciate it at the time but it really grew on me.

SNL doesn't seem to be tanking. The viewership is up right now, and even I stay up to watch at this point. The meltdown doesn't seem to be coming from the libs, but from the right. Bringing back Baldwin 17 times isn't because it is bad; it's because he is a great host and the comedy is enhanced by his performances. I enjoyed SNL when they made fun of GWB and BO. I like political humor.

I've skipped a good percentage of the last five pages but I'm really, really hoping you guys know that chapel this week is just a rerun of the show he did a few months ago and not a new one.

it's just like being a pro-loss kstate bball fan. there are lots of different ways to enjoy your favorite teams.
