Looks like the thread title may be correct based on steve dave's breakdown analysis.   :ohno:

I'm not worried about the defense at all. They're only going to need to make 1, maybe 2 stops a game because our offense will be unstoppable.

I agree with this, however based on what I’ve seen so far, I would tend to lean towards bolding Finau and Britz.  Or maybe put them Italics for that feeling where you’re not worried but not excited or something.   I might put Walker in this category as well instead of bold.

yeah, walker has not impressed this year. kinda disappointing. I'm gunshy about getting confidence in defensive linemen, especially young DTs.

If we get the 2 LB's from Butler, bold the whole LB corp and call it a day.

you cannot put hood in there as bold. too many DTs come in we think will be good and end up being garbage or never playing or leaving or flunking out of school

From what I have heard about Moore, he would be at least a better option than Slaughter...

Don't know much about Truman except for that he was decent (maybe an 84 overall) by his senior year in EA Sports NCAA Football 12.

I'm preemptively angry at EA Sports because I know next year they will have #life at mid-70s overall :curse:

This year Lockett is like a 67 overall.  What the eff, EA Sports :chainsaw:

steve dave, are you stating that you are disappointed in Walker's play because somebody who didn't know any better mentioned that on another message board or because his number hasn't been called as frequently?

I actually like Walker's play this year.  He looks more confident in his decisions playing in space in the pass defense and is more physical taking on blocks.  Part of the reason his name isn't called as much might have to do with our defensive line being more active this year.  They are making more plays in, around, and behind the LOS then they have since Snyder's returned.  Part of that has to do w/ Tuggle's inclusion in the long distance situations but we have guys up front who are getting off blocks with regularity.  It is a far cry from two years ago when our defensive front looked glued, tarred, and stapled to offensive lineman.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

I haven't seen anyone on another board mention him so, no, it was just my watching him this year. hasn't seemed disruptive to me. still not trusted in passing downs. he doesn't seem to be very involved. he's fine, I was just hoping for a bigger improvement over last season.

Some guy that wears number seven looks impressive on the sidelines and perhaps during some mop up special teams time.  no idea who he is though.

He went to Blinn.  So we're good.

Every Sunday I daydream about watching Arthur play for some NFL team next year. And especially when they introduce each player like on MNF. Can't wait for him to say in his deepest, most intimidating voice, "Arthur Brown Jr, Kansas State"
