somebody needs to make a gif of Snyder putting bullets into a gun (reloading) that somehow resemble juco players and then shooting the gun. seems simple enough.

Nothing is more worrisome than a bacon shortage.

Okay, poor examples. But Demonte Hood is supposed to be good, no?  :dunno:

But DT's usually don't get really good until their junior or senior years

D. Hood Britzen is going to be a dominant force for its entire tenure.

Britz already looks pretty good as a true freshman.  Also, Mueller is a f&cking animal.

Love Mueller.  Really do.  But if he want to be an every-down d-lineman next year, he needs to biscuit-up like a madman.

What about LBs and DBs? Need help there too. Randall Evans going to be able to start? Mike Moore any good? Rumblings Slaughter is RS'ing so he will be a Sr. next year but he's never looked good to me.

What a waste of a great name.

Enjoy the moment. If Snyder II simply gives us 2YOD then I'm good. Really.

are you going to be singing this tune come February?  DOUBT IT!

Why would anybody even think about next year before February?

I wouldn't be surprised if the staff tries to move Kent Gainous up to Will, he's huge and appears to have a good frame to put on size. Also Mike Moore needs to play the Mike for us, we need his athleticism and the staff has said good things about him. Slaughter playing scares me.

Big hit to D-Line and we are losing Brown

Should be as good or better along the interior DL next season.  A nucleus of Britz (proving to be a very good true freshman), Hood (it's reported the coaching staff really likes him), Akinola, and Chaqil Reed.  Plus, any jucos that will be added and, at present, we seem to have the attention of some good ones.  Seem to be in a good position with Marquel Combs (visits Dec. 1).

As for DE.  Return Mueller, Finau, and Bryant.  May have a true freshman capable of playing next season in Jordan Willis, a 6'5 250lb pass rushing specialist out of Rockhurst.  Tanner Wood is another DE commit.  Plus, there appears to be an outside shot at 4 star Lee's Summit West 6'4 255lb Jamone Boyd.  Boyd is cooling on the idea of Arkansas and Mizzou.  A few more pathetic outings by Nebraska (likely the school to beat for him at the moment) and we might be well in the hunt.  Look to be in good position with juco DEs Chris Martin (CCSF and former 5 star prep DE prospect compared to Julius Peppers) and Devon Nash (we appear to be his favorite at the moment).  The Southern schools appear to be cooling a bit on Marcus Hardison (Dodge City) as well.

I'm probably one of the few who LIKES where we're headed on the defensive line.  Keep winning and some of these guys will be added.

As for replacing the LBs?  Tuggle played QB last year and Childs played RB a few years ago.  We have guys on the current roster in Torrell Miller and Kyle Klein who look like they might be candidates to slide over and play well at Sam.  Seem to be in good standing with some juco LBs as well.  Both Hutch LB Antonio Longino and current KU commit Marcus Jenkins-Moore visit in December and the two Butler LBs, Tommy Sanders and Rahmon Swain would like to visit KSU.

Just keep winning...
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.
