Crazy game.  The manningcast is a lot of fun.  Between that, the met gala, and nicki minaj, twitter was really smoking last night

Why would you ever watch MNF again if you’re not on the Peyton and Eli feed? It’s just been tremendous

“Gruden called the league’s commissioner, Roger Goodell, a “man of taste and distinction” and a “clueless anti football pussy” and said that Goodell should not have pressured Jeff Fisher, then the coach of the Rams, to draft “queers,”

It's amazing to me what otherwise successful people who have survived many decades on earth will memorialize in writing. Don't do that crap, people.

Gruden deserved to get canned.  But I think this serious of Tweets brings up a good point and yes, the owners run the show.

Dan Snyder is just gross.  Substantial allegations against that organization.  Big investigation.  No public report of any kind.

Owners make the NFL super corrupt.  They are seem smart enough not to put their thoughts in a company email (mainly because they probably have someone draft emails for them).

But yea, one of the shittiest things NFL owners do is make an entire city pay for a new stadium and move if they don't get their way.

This whole Gruden thing is sadly not a surprise.  He has always came across as a superficial douche canoe.

Finally, congrats to Raiders for figuring out how to get out of a really shitty coaching contract.

Definitely intentional by someone, likely the owners.  Goodell is the public villain but he just does the owners' will.  They love him because he keeps them clean.

Who else would run the show in the NFL other than the owners?  The comment below yours seemed to make a statement about the owners running the show which is confusing to me.   The players are employees.

I think he's saying that Gruden is being used as a sacrificial lamb, the other people involved here are owners, upper management and they are going to protect their own. It appears he's right.

I hope the Chiefs pick up OBJ and release Robinson.

I am not 100% sure, but if he is released then I think he falls to waivers.  Lot's of teams in front of the Chiefs to pick him up.  Depends on who can and wants to take on his remaining contract.

Chiefs have been positioning themselves for a waiver pickup all season

I don't know that he'll make it that low.  His remaining contract is non-guaranteed so it's a low-risk flier for all these teams.  Of course, I wouldn't put it past him to threaten to not report unless he clears waivers.
