Congratulations to Tony Romo on a Hall of Fame career. There weren't many players who were more fun to watch in the past 10 years.

Thank God we will not have to suffer through another Phil Simms broadcast.

No way is Romo going into the Hall of Fame.

His stats, winning percentage, and legacy suggest otherwise.

Show me a QB in the HOF with less playoff wins than Romo.

Is that a requirement? Was not aware of that.

No but it sure as crap helps. Romo never won anything of significance. Racked up wins in a sub par division then tanked in the Playoffs. It's the Hall of Fame not Hall of Good.

By your Metric Alex Smith is on Hall of Fame pace too.

They didn't have playoffs back then.  Waterfield won 2 NFL Championships.

Probably the most respected Cowboys writer in Dallas and HOF voter, disagrees with you, Townie.

That is one person's opinion. Never said it would be unanimous or even first ballot. But I do believe he will get in eventually.

In his era he was behind Brady, Manning, Manning, Roethlisburger, Brees, Rodgers, and probably Rivers, if not others. The 8th or 9th best QB of an era is not some hall of fame lock

I love the Cowboys. I love Tony Romo.

Tony Romo was a damn good but not great QB so no he will not be going to the Hall of Fame.

Romo is better than Rivers. He's not as good as Trent Green or Joe Flacco.

Rivers?

Rivers is going to end his career probably top 6 or 7 in passing yards. Romo is 29th.

Also Rivers has won playoff games.

Carson Palmer's career was better than Romo also. Not even really a question.

But Rivers is just so unlikeable. Tony seems like a guy that you could drink a beer with.

Aside from injuries Romo and Rivers have had very similar careers. Except TR had the weight of America's Team on his shoulders and Rivers played in front of a couple of dozen Chargers fans.
