If I were starting a team, and could choose any player as the 1st overall pick, I'd choose Luck

Shouldn't the Eagles' PR staff have some sort of policy against their players following other teams?

The Cowboys have 2 MVP contenders in Murray and Romo.  However, given that QBs almost always win the award, I think Romo will be your 2014-2015 NFL MVP.

Why you ask? Despite managing a surgically repaired back, Romo leads the league's quarterbacks in completion percentage (70.3), yards per attempt (8.49) and passer rating (114.4).  Romo has thrown for 3,406 yards with 32 touchdowns and only eight interceptions, leading the Cowboys to an 11-3 record in games that he has played.

Remember how the Cowboys/Romo always melt down in December and end up 8-8? Dallas is 3-0 this month in large part due to Romo completing 79.2 percent of his passes for 688 yards and 10 touchdowns with no interceptions.

Romo leads the NFL this season with an 82.3 Total QBR, while his Total QBR in the second half or OT is on pace to be the league's best in nine years. Remember how Romo can't close out games and is not clutch?  Check out his digits in the 2nd Half/OT in 2014:

Comp %:   69.4   (Best)
TD-Int:   15-3   (Best)
TD pct:   9.4   (Best)
Total QBR:   91.1   (Best)

BTW, he just passed Aikman for all-time passing yardage.

The 'Boys are Back.

Romo won't win the MVP, but he should. The numbers you posted speak for themselves. For those of you who like to rely on the "eye test" just go look at the Washington and Arizona games when Romo was out. If you take Rogers, Brady, and Watt off of their teams their record wouldn't drop nearly as much as if Dallas lost Romo.

I mean, its hard to believe I'm at a point where the most positive sports fan thing I have going is the Cowboys.

Granted, I don't really care about the Cowboys that much anymore. I don't go out of my way to watch and I don't own a single piece of Cowboys apparel.

But let me tell you, there was a time the Cowboys were the only team I really cared about. The earliest game I can clearly remember cheering for a team was in 1985 when the Cowboys played the LA Rams in the playoffs and Eric Dickerson ran for 200+ yards while the Cowboys got shutout. I remember joining the Dallas Cowboys fan club. I remember in 1989 when the Cowboys won one game over the Redskins on Sunday night football. I remember a great playoff win in Chicago before Barry Sanders ran roughshod over the Cowboys a week later. I got a Cowboys Starter jacket my senior year of high school and vividly remember the playoff run and Super Bowl victory and 2 more the next 3 years while I started at K-State. Eventually K-State surpassed the Cowboys, especially as Jones continued to put his input into the organization and bury it. The last 10 years I have followed them nominally at best and really am probably more of a Chiefs fan now.

However, the Cowboys now have their first playoff victory since 09 and I'm sure I'll be sorely disappointed in a week when they get killed by Green Bay, but right now I'm going to enjoy the moment.

holla holla huge boyz fan over here, _BOY.  I think the Cowboys put a big bully beatdown on the Pack this weekend and Romo vaults ahead of discount doublecheck guy as MVP frontrunner.  I'm callin' my shot.  KOBE!!

Fellow #wedemboyz fans, Bailey can't make a FG suddenly then give up that? I felt good about that first half until the last minute or so.

And people really like grass more than turf? This field looks like crap.
