Yea they have some nice athletes across the line but skill position play especially QB was poor.

Stevens is legit good, IMO. I think whatever shoulder ailment he had against USM hampered him to our benefit.

Their QB play wasn’t terrible, but their time management at the end was lol awful, and Zuber (EMAW forever) really helped us out at key points.

But still, I agree that the win wasn’t that impressive. We should have won by a lot more but shot ourselves in the foot on multiple occasions. I think KU deserves the honors this week. Game against BC definitely had the feel of that year they lost to an FCS squad and bounced back vs Georgia Tech (lol ACC).

Yeah. I mean we are really good, but they are also just pillowy soft. Good teams don't get pushed around like that up and down the football field, even against other good teams.

Any road win against a team that puts actual money into their FB program is great, but just based on the sample size it’s tough to imagine who Miss St could even beat in the Big 12 this year.

I think their coach is/was garbage and will be back to being an O coordinator in three years. two teams trending in different directions with last year and this year pretty obviously showing that.

They have one of the two best running backs in the SEC and a ton of very good athletes on defense. They would be 4th-5th in the Big 12 imo. That was a good win, especially with all of our shitty muffed punts and fumbles. Take those away and we win by 20.

Kli was the better coach in FCS then and is the better coach in Power 5 now

We have an offensive system now. Players just play their role and not effing up determines success. NDSU didn't have better talent than a lot of the FCS team they played.

Bill would find the best 22-25 players on the team and scheme them into number advantage situations or 1 on 1. Those 22 played the entire season. Pretty different.

I think we'll have plenty of success in the big-12 with this offense since B12 defenses see it so little. Klieman seems to have a really good system/grasp of it, which is surprising since I think mess is weak OC overall. We'd probably have less success in the Big-10 tbh.

We'll need depth on the O-Line to make it work long term. Lots of pulling tackles and guards will get banged up by crashing safeties/db's.

The only difference is that there was a narrative built around why Mississippi State was not mediocre. There isn't a person in the country willing to build mold aggie into some hot weather, 4 star, killer of big 12 teams.

I had to point out to a Mississippi State fan that their recruitment ratings for the players in the program now are equivalent to Louisville and Virginia Tech.
