Author Topic: Who do we cheer for on Oct. 6 in Austin? West Virginia or Texas? (Read 4218 times)

Part of me wants WVU ranked in the top 10 when we go to Morgan Town, for the excitement of it...chance to be another top 10 team on the road, mabye a Gameday game, etc.

However, if we want to win a Big 12 Championship, we really can't cheer for other teams to get road wins can we?

Man, how about that TX game with the confy on the line to end the season. What a treat that would be. Though, having it wrapped up before we even play that game would make for really cocky message boarding too.

We're going to beat wvu either way. Maryland basically tried to k-state them and showed that our style can slow them.

Bold prediction: OU beats UT, both teams end up with 1 loss. Last game of the season sets up so that if we win, we win the Big 12 outright, if we lose, we split it.

College gameday, Undefeated KSU and 1 loss UT for the confy title. KSU for title shot.

We got blown out by OU last year because in the weeks before that game some of our fans wanted to 'focus on KU' instead of gearing up for the Sooners. We can't let this happen again. KU will be the worst team we play all year, so the less time we spend worrying about them the better.

My plan is to focus on flood-aggy this week and then begin to zero in on coal-aggy as soon as October gets here. Three weeks should be enough time for us to prepare for the biggest game of the 2012 college football season.

West Virginia looks like a team that will finish with 4 or 5 losses. I'm not worried about those guys at all.

I want to see Texas ekk out a win over WV then we pound WV then the same for the rest of the season close Texas win we pound same team.
Then we pound an undefeated Texas ...I know it's looking to far ahead but I'm really worried that if we are the third undefeated team at the end we get snubbed

nobody is talking about tech but i think they could be pretty good this year, granted they havent played anybody but they look better than half the league

Oregon will probably stumble, but FSU plays no one and an SEC team will probably go undefeated. We're screwed.
