Def stay at the major hotel brand of your choice that is right in or adjacent to Bricktown. DO NOT select a hotel called "Bricktown Inn" or something like that - not in Bricktown, super weird.
You'll be getting there really late on Saturday, so if you're planning on eating someplace nice there, do it Friday. Mickey Mantle's and Nonna's are elite.
The official goEMAW bar is JJ's Alley. They have a pak head on display there still. You may find the Situ-Injun there as well. Biting Sow is fantastic as well, especially if you'd like to pick up a late night BBQ Beef combo dog.
NOW, be aware that the cops are nazis. They enforce public intoxication laws on people WALKING from the bar district (designed to attract tourists) to their hotels a block away. If one of them rounds you up and throws you in the concentration camp (the public inebriate alternative or "drunk tank"), you're going to want to chat the eff out of the guard, Vonda. She's supposed to hold you for 12 hours, but a little charm will have you out in 4.
