Although...in ancient times, when Patterson roamed the prehistoric plains of our state, Kansas tended to win more football games.  Would that make him a bandwagon fan?

maybe growing up, but he was all EMAW by the time he hot campus.   A former coworker played with Gary and was best man in his wedding.

Ate lunch in Rozel one time while pheasant hunting.  Pretty sure the sign on the edge of town said "Hometown of Gary Patterson, Sqak Lover".

Confirmed.  Birds flushed 200 yards out, my theory is that Gary Patterson thought they were Jayhawks and the pheasants were scared of getting some Gary Patterson love.
