I remember just being relieved I didn't need gas that day. I was driving an old truck that I had to fill up about twice per week at the time, and it would have been a huge bummer waiting on all of the hicks trying to drain the pump just so I could get home.

It's crazy to think that kids in college today have very little to no memory of September 11, 2001. I guess that explains the snarky jokes. You guys, it's like so cool to make sarcastic jokes about 9/11!

I think this is more about the housewife in Centralia who has to post on FB how she is remembering 9/11. And having no memory of the actual event.

thinking back, i felt so helpless. watching and thinking about the poor souls in the towers, i could hear the sirens of the first responders rushing to the pentagon while i sat in my office in south overland park
