Willie's a stiff

For his range of mobility compared to other mascots, Willie doesn't really do a whole lot. I mean, yeah - he runs at 5.2 speed and tackles an off duty willie before other game. But c'mon - that's old hat. During the game he just walks around signing little kids shirts and mocking the college students while hiding behind this mask. Where's the press box climbing, bowl game fighting Willie of old?

Overall, I'm just disappointed.

Hell, that giant, wonky duck at oregon rides a motorcycle every game.  Willie should at least hanglide or something.

Was driving in the neighborhood just south of Claflin (you know by the EMS station.).

Well anyway the wife and I pull around the corner and there stands Willie the mutha efffin Wildcat.  Willie is preparing to enter his vehicle as we round the bend.

Young Willie throws up a big wave and precariously entered his car.  I stopped and sat for an uncomfortable length of time as Willie patiently waited for us to leave.

Turn my alumni calendar to Sept and there is Willie just sitting on his ass at the back of the NEZ.

If part of what you're getting at is Willie needs to stop the pre-game tackle of the opposing mascot, then you just need to STFU.

Willie made an appearance (a pretty awesome one I must say) at my wedding in 2010, night before the OkieLite game.  He calls and I meet him outside.  Pulls up in a little Honda Civic.  Puts on his head, then carefully exited the car.  Was pretty awesome to watch.

And no, ChiCat, I'll be the first to say that I appreciate a good ole full force open field tackle. However, I'm all about innovation. Lets use the resources around us. Lets shoot willie out of a cannon aimed at another mascot or something.

I want more props, and not just during skits, like during the actual game.  Pajamas, boxing gloves, a dog on a leash, giant lollipop, huge sunglasses, cowboy hats, sword shield combo, snorkel and goggles, etc.
