Yes we should have seperate but equal sections for certain "People" so they dont ruin our wild wildcat watching experience.

Three years ago I could barely sleep before a 'Cats home game so I would lay in my bed and try to rest my eyes. By 5am I would give up, throw on some purple, grab BigDCat, put him in a snuggie and go drink beers in the back of a pick up until someone woke up to drive us to the fields.

There, I'd switch to liquor so I'd get mad enough to make borderline racist comments (it's okay because I'm black) at most of the visiting team from the student section. I do believe I with all my heart that I made a difference. I got in their heads. I did my job as a cat fan to help those young people win.

Now, I've graduated. BigDCat moved back to the Big D. I am not eligible to buy student tickets. I now sit with my beautiful mother, teenage sister, and random shirt tucks in section 5 who I grew up around.

I just dont know if I can deal with the binoculars from the 12th row, the constant commentary about what Stan had to say about that play, or the insistence that they need to "tackle him to the ground!", "run faster", or "how athletic that number four on defense is."

Even with all the 16 goals videos, people coming back for the game, and general buzz of football starting again, I just cannot seem to get that excited for watching the game. This makes me sad. Really, really sad.

I need your support.

Take it upon yourself to teach your section what do do when "Jump Around" by House of Pain comes on over the PA system.

Back in my student section days, I used to think about how awesome we were as a collective group. I would envision our rabid student section facing off against KU, Nebraska, or A&M's student section in a Braveheart type situation where 20,000 students would make a mad dash towards each other and brawl to the death..........of course, KSU always winning. We were more angry at that time. I don't know if the outcome would be the same anymore. Sad.
