Two names that will likely be involved at Charlotte: K-State assistant Dalonte Hill and Kansas assistant Joe Dooley.

huggins should hire Lutz as pennance for destroying the Charlotte program.

idk about Hill leaving.  even if he isn't pulling in recruits anymore (that we know of), he's so nice to look at sitting next to Frank.

Yeah, if Te420K ain't going to cruit anybody anymore, than he should take that job if offered.

However, they're starting football over there, and when schools are starting up football, everything else suffers.

Gotta be a lot of good recruiters out there that would like to get their salary tripled.

Currie is hoping like hell this happens.

Would anyone like Art get a look?  AAU coach with huge ties to a hotbed of talent?  Any thoughts?

We can pretty much get anyone we want w/ ties to him, anyway.

Agreed, but hiring him would open up the market he can tap.  If he is good at relating to the recruits, he could start working on kids that aren't Tropics.

What candidates are out there?

Another good east coast guy or maybe a Chi guy?

Probably worth it in his mind to HC an A-10 school.  Not kidding.  This guy is living to be a head coach.

Anyone have doubts Te wouldn't recruit a shazbot! load of talent? Be interesting to see how he coached it up.

Would Judge go with him? :ohno:

Dalonte doesn't want to be a head coach.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I obviously don't follow recruiting much.

I started by asking who would we look at to replace 'te?

I have no doubt that my thoughts on that are Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) since I don't have much familiarity with the recruiting world.

Given that, who do those who follow recruiting more than I think will be next?

He wants it.  Wouldn't there be a rule about Art recruiting anyone he has coached for?  It'd be like making sure we did not get AR-11.

Good point.  Are we going to be the first school stung by the crappy new rule?
