I never really watched Arrested Development. I'd see bits and pieces, but never really paid much attention to it.

Because of this thread, I've watched the first 4 episodes on Netflix and I'm starting to become hooked. It is pretty decent.

Yes, he's right. You have no idea what you're in for. "I'd see bits and pieces" is a really awful way to watch this show. It's like, don't start halfway paying attention to an episode while you fold laundry at your brother's house that is in the middle of season 2. You have no idea who the characters are or how they're related to each other or what jokes they're calling back to.

Did they change actresses for the character "Marta" after the show where they go to the Mexican awards show? The first was better looking than the second.

I have watched every episode twice, and some a few more. Tobias is my favorite character, followed closely by GOB.

GOB is so amazing. He's the best. Favorite supporting character is Gene Parmesan.

update: last night i got up to episode 6 of season 2. such a wonderful show. i really feel like a complete loser for having not watched this show sooner. the on-going bits about george michael's girlfriend get me every time.

I'm nearing the end. so sad.

i love how they just put the show on cruise control near the end. pretty great. the random plotline with charlize theron was hilarious.

i'm watching the episode where they have andy richter on there as 4 quintuplets right now. so awesome.

Have you gotten to the Save Our Bluth's episode yet? It's so meta, and yet so pertinent. Amazing writing. The narrator is hilarious in that one.

Just read an article about the new season. The whole cast is back, and Kristen Wiig is going to be playing a young Lucille. Looks like a storyline will be from when she was younger. Seems pretty great.

OK Cat did you finish the whole show? I'm about through with my 7th or 8th viewing and still noticing new crap. Oh and the third season is criminally underrated by most people, imo. Still so, so good.

Best show ever. Most brilliant thing I've ever seen on the tubes.
