I'm just saying, how can you say he tried to enter the stadium if there's no documented evidence to support it?  The link to the news story that referenced the police report is now dead.

I swear I remember reading quotes from ticket-takers or security guards or something. It's been 8 years, though, so maybe not.

But even still, a little common sense tells you that this guy was trying to blow up the stadium. If all he wanted to do was commit suicide, why did he go to the trouble of building a bomb? Why do it 80 feet from a completely full football stadium if you only intend to take out yourself? Why was his bomb similar in makeup (on a smaller scale) to the bombs used by Muslim extremists in other attacks? So many questions, all of which point to "this guy was trying to get into the stadium to blow it up."

I remember hearing the "Boom".  Everybody in the south endzone stood up and looked in the direction from where the noise came from.  We knew something was crazy when they redirected through campus because parts were closed off. 

Still baffles me how that day became so hush hush.  If I remember correctly he was a Mechanical Engineering student.  I mean people could have died from this bad person.

Norman is the worst football town in the Big 12. The city has no business hosting 60,000 people or however many people that place holds. There's no reason it should take 2 hours to clear out a city after a football game. Just embarrassing.

It's awful.  2 hours might be underselling it.  In Manhattan?  I walk to my car and zoom out of town in about 15 minutes if I want to get home quick.
