Probably one of the lamest towniest things is getting so pumped about crappy joco style chain stores coming to Manhattan.  I thought people were going to throw a parade when Target came to town.

Marshall's/TJ Maxx is awesome.  People who thumb their noses at these stores are assholes.

don't be an idiot though. people in all towns/cities regardless of the size get excited for new things. kansas city wouldn't shut up for a year when they found out they were finally getting a trader joes. meanwhile people in omaha and des moines were lolling at kc because they both already had trader joes. ever think of that kc guy? not so tough now are you?

What the eff is a TJ Max?

LOL at this mf acting like he doesn't know what Maxx is.  He lives in Wichita where there is either a Maxx, Gordmans, Ross, and/or Kohl's on every damn corner.

Chin up, Rick. Trader Joe's found a way to shoehorn a store into Montgomery County, MD, land of mumped up liquor laws and "beer wine & deli" capitol of the world.

I don't think there's one piece of work clothing that I own (polos, jeans, slacks, etc.) aside from suits and shoes that I didn't buy at either Gordman's or Marshalls.

Is that because of the Metric System?
