Request for practice stories
« on: August 05, 2012, 07:46:54 PM »
So I'm betting there's times when some scrubs are fighting for a spot on the team and they are going 100% while the starters are just trying to get in work and not get hurt, and then one of the scrubs cheap shots a starter or #2 even though it's a no pads day and stuff gets chippy.  That happens right?  Pretty sure it probably does.

And then they all end up lifting Rudy on their shoulders when he finally gets in the last game of his career, even though they hated him for going balls out in every walk through. He does it for them, to make them the best they can be. WE ARE K-STATE!

I mean it's not like I posted this without knowing of AT LEAST ONE story that someone with first hand knowledge could talk about.

I think this kind of thing is only good for the starters. They need scrubs going balls out so they stay alert and focused.

I can't say too much but let's just say Collin has been very popular with his teammates who are all asking him "what's 'it' like?"

Of course, he is a gentleman and won't tell.

It would suck though if a starter or #2 got hurt right?

It won't happen if they stay on their toes. This team doesn't have enough talent to just coast through practice and still be good come game time.

I bet Collin is all humpy and stuff in practice now, he won`t line up in the shotgun, just wants to get behind the center, making everyone sniff his fingers.

So... yeah...  any practice stories?

I won't get into specifics but let's just say certain players have been tearing it up big time and are pushing certain other players for starting spots.

Oh, I almost forgot, certain players are looking about 5x stronger than they looked last year.   :fatty:

My god, he won't be on honeymoon much longer if he keeping shooting all over the bed and leaving a mess for the bride to clean up every day. (only because he's a stud)

After powercat open yesterday(sand creek station, Newton) During his speech, Wyatt says klein stops and shakes his hand at practice.  Wyatt asks " how's married life?" Klein answers " you kidding, it's football season"

Heard from a wide receiver friend that Tuggle is our second best linebacker. Possibly NFL caliber. fwiw
