The Sporting News gives the best college football preview year in and year out. This is definitely a good sign for things to come.

I couldn't envision a more trusted preview of the college football landscape. Sporting News knows their stuff, inside and out.

CTR ranked 10th, which casts some doubt about this.  Sorry.

Sporting News is the best of the best when it comes to accurate previews. You are just wrong here, deputy dawg.

If there's one thing that I know it is that the Sporting News is the best at being accurate and at being the best.

They ranked us 76 in last year's preseason poll. They may not be precise, but they are accurate. We finished 61 spots higher, so I expect us to finish -55 this year. I don't think anyone can catch us in the polls.

-55 should be good for the Crystal football, Superbowl championship, Stanley Cup, and diploma from National University.  Feels good

i've got a buddy who writes at Sporting News and he took me on a tour of their facilities last month.  it really is an incredible place but the most impressive thing they have on the Sporting News corporate campus is their data center.  the place is huge and filled with the most up to date databases available on the market.  he told me the only places with better databases/data are DARPA, CIA, and DHS.

Guys, Sporting News just had an epiphany and realized the connection between us being picked to finish 8th in the Big XII last year to finishing #8 in the BCS, to being picked to finish 6th in the Big XII.  Prime groundbreaking prediction analysis here.

But has your buddy heard of the Chingdex? (I don't want to detract from the accuracy of the Sporting News, just reflecting about the accuracy of things in relation to other things)

i doubt it.  chingdex is some bullshit that a poster on this site makes up each week.  how would anyone, minus the 35 posters on this site, have heard of it?

You know, that giant light bulby thingy in downtown Detroit that lights up when a sports writer gets his wings from a prediction or something.  I hear it's pretty sweet.

Any sports mag that hitches their wagon to AOL has to be good.  No doubt about it.  Think how much better this place could be if you had to go to aol.goEMAW.com.  Man, if only.....
