Exactly. Dobbie, if you seriously think they were/are running that site the way the people wanted it to be ran, you should be shot. Completely out of touch with what people want. Even then, they made a ton of failed promises that assured they wouldn't succeed anytime soon.

2) Your best efforts to raise $150 (can be straight pledges or pledges per pin).
3) Your personal contact info to go on our roster sheet.  TP says it's cool to just post that crap on the boards.
4) Don't embarrass me at the thing.  Everyone but you will be from my company.
5) Don't make yourself a private process server and try to serve me with papers at the event.
6) Get me high-quality pictures of your tattoos so I can try to get some temporary ones made up for the other team members to boost team morale.

I don't have my official captain checklist with me so there may be some more but these are the main ones I can think of.

Would you not celebrate his birthday if he was cancer free?  Seems like you set that up as a qualifier for why you are planning something.  Maybe he's faking to get birthday planning?  I would just bowl to help the kids out dob's.  I would do it but I roll gutterballs about 80% of the time if they don't put the inflatable bumpers in.

There is free pizza and soda and 2 beer tickets, but usually there's people who don't drink beer that'll give you extra tickets.  Shirts are given away to bowlers who've raised $150.  Throughout the event, BBBS trivia questions are asked and more prizes are given away through that.  Last year, I came away with 2 shirts and a hat.
