I watched all highlight videos from the DOD DVD recently in chronological order. It was already apparent to me, but wow...Mitch and Greg were 1000x better than Wyattvision. My god.

The "big big BIG etc." stuff was kind of dorky, but I'll go to my grave thinking "WHAT IT IS, WHAT IT IS!" is just plain cool.

Yeah his sayings were dorky but just listening to how fast he explained what was happening in the play (and the immediate detail he used) made him way better than Wyatt. Wyatt's rendition of a big play is ssssssoooo ssssssllllloowwwwww and mainly consists of surface-y stuff like, "Caught at the 50.........now he's to the 40.........35, 30.............10...5...........Touchdown Wildcats." In that same amount of time Mitch had crammed in about 20 more descriptors that paint the picture way better.

mitch does his homework. i was discussing with a friend of mine that he might be the most knowledgable x's and o's PBP guy.

However, I'm a huge fan of Greg Sharpe.

I love, and I mean absolutely love, his call on touchdowns.

Yes, Mitch and Greg were both great PBP guys. Would take either. People on here slag on Mitch because he's super corny sometimes, but the dude knows his stuff and talks quickly during a play to cram in more description, which is important.

Or, was important. Now every game is on TV.
