What about TCU?
« on: July 20, 2012, 09:37:18 AM »
I mean, they stole our color and stuff. Will make gameday awkward when I head to Ft. Worth this year. I can just see myself, "hey look, a kstater "go cats!" ...."oh, nvm" ". And they are addicted to drugs and stuff. Stupid mascot.

Idk, feel like we are only picking on one of the new kids.

Did we schedule them in non-con this year?

Near as I can tell, it looks like we've agreed to a home-and-home series.   :dunno:

What do you think a TCU battle cry would be like? A croaking toad or something? would be awesome.

Where are they located?  I like going to various non-con sites.

they're located in dallas.  pretty impressed they bounced back from the death penalty the NCAA doled out to'em in the 90s.  the espn 30 for 30 was just amazing.  wonder if any of that is still going on.

From my vague memory, I believe Denton?  Someone mentioned that they're located "in the armpit of Texas" or something or other.  Need confirmation.

Some hooker-killer that played there got Mike Leach fired.  Would be fun to see a series between them and Tech.

I'm just going to call them A&M, I just can't be bothered to learn another school's name when they are in the same state as the school they are replacing.

I could get behind this, but do you really think the new A&M can go 6-6 like the old A&M?

I hear they're building a really nice stadium, so it could be a pretty fun trip for a nice non-connie in the DFW metroplex.   Hopefully we're making them come play us in the MHK 3 times.

What's this about their coach coveting the K-State job?

Peterson right, Jerry Peterson?

Should I add him to the coaches thread?

Might be hard finding any info though.

Do we get to play them in basketball this year? I hear Larry Brown is coaching there now. Makes me a little nervous, he is super old. What if he dies in Bramlage? Bad press.

They've been a pretty good FCS team for awhile now, I think. But, aren't they the ones with the blue turf? LOL losers.
