Recently, I've noticed that, in general, I don't really like sports. I like and have always been a bit obsessive about K-State football and to a lesser extent ksu bb, but beyond that, I find sports pretty boring.

I used to be pretty into sports, but as I've grown up, man, I just do not care at all. Royals? Chiefs? No thank you. I have no idea how people maintain interest/have any emotional investment in any pro sport team.

I don't like the Royals either. However, I enjoy sports. I highly enjoy watching the USA basketball team play.

i feel the same way. Lost emotional investment in pro teams years ago and reinvested in the cats

the older i get, the more i enjoy watching other college (football and basketball) and non-chief nfl games.

i wish KC had a hockey team, i think i could get into it if i had someone to go for.

I fly through espn.com so I know the basics of any major happenings, and I watch PTI daily. That's the majority my non-KSU sports intake. I rarely will sit down to exclusively watch a non-KSU game, but will maybe have it on TV in the background while I'm doing something else.

I live in the heart of Raiders fan country (which is not Oakland, btw) and people always talk crap on the Chiefs. My response is alwaya the same: idgaf

I follow K-State hardcore, and I casually follow the Royals. Other than that, I don't really care. I hardly ever even watch bowl games, national championship included, unless there is a Big 12 team playing.

The idea of sports is way better than sports, ex. The idea of the Royals farm system creating a monster is more entertaining than watch the royals kick ass. Sports are about a dream not reality.

Disagree. The idea of K-State having a DoD pales in comparison to how awesome the reality was.

That said, I love sports, though I really don't get too wrapped up in having a rooting interest while watching. I like certain storylines, match-ups, rivalries, etc. but outside of EMAW U and to a lesser extent the Royals I don't have any emotional interest in sports.

As I get older I find I just simply enjoy the playing of the games themselves, and the greatness of those playing, which is probably why I have gravitated to the NBA from NCAA hoops outside of KSU/ Big 12.

i can't imagine not following any non-ksu related sports. I would need to find a hobby or something...would be so bored. I was thinking about this the other day, and Hockey is the only major sport i couldn't sit down and watch a whole game on tv. Guess i should consider myself lucky.

my dad can sit down and watch golf all day. doesn't have to be a major tournament either. like, wtf it's so boring.

the only reason I get invested in pro sports (other than royals/chiefs) is when I have a fantasy team.
