Historically I'd say Indiana (82-83 record all-time in favor of them), but they were rough ridin' terrible for much of oscar's tenure and so he should have beaten them (and did for the most part). Contemporary rival for oscar, I'd say Wisconsin. Bo held the 11-8 edge head-to-head versus oscar.

More troubling for Illini fans was oscar's record versus Purdue and Matt Painter (a guy oscar coached as a player and who was oscar's assistant at SIU). 10-4 Painter, with Painter taking the last 6 straight. rough ridin' brutal.
