Yeah, he ain't coming back, for those of us that were there, we knew.

Sad.

what happened?  pm me if it's too insidery.

I dunno if this is what KK is talking about, but he was clearly hurt. I didn't see his knee get all Lattimored or anything, but when he was "walking off" he was clearly angry, yelling in frustration. Players aren't angry over sprains, they know when something really bad happens to their body. As soon as he was making those gestures of frustration, I turned to [redacted] and said he was done

love tre, absolutely love him. but i honestly can't remember him making a significant play this year...

This.

There have been games where I had to check the boxscore to make sure he even played

If any hears any more details on the situ, I'd be interested on how severe it was. Hoping he could come in for mop up duty perhaps when we win the Natty.

When Tre got injured it looked like one of those fluke things no nasty bend or getting slammed hard was just strange

It didn't seem like Tre's injury was that bad. DON'T RIP ME but when I used to play ball with him a couple years back he was a bit of a girl about any kind of contact. Undoubtedly he's toughened up since, but he could easily overreact to a sprain. He's just kind of emotional like that.  Take it for what it's worth.

Look, if you've blown out a knee you have a visceral understanding of what it feels like/looks like.  It initially puts you in to a kind of shock/intense pain, then the adrenaline kicks in and you can pretty much walk on it, but it feels terrible and weird and is unstable as hell.  He knows he's done.  Simple stuff here kids.

I bet Tre did catch a few of those fish, but Mixed still had to take them off the hook for him.  Also, they were the smaller one's near the end of the trip and everyone else was already done fishing by then and they quietly decided that they would stay until Tre could catch a couple.

It looked like every other ACL tear you would see.  Planted hard and a little awkward, no noticeable movement or catastrophic failure, fall to the ground and grab the OUTSIDE of the knee.  I called an ACL tear as soon as they replayed it.

He's been retweeting people all day saying "sorry about your knee".  Wouldn't be surprised if Bill gets him off twitter soon.

Yep, definitely one of those you just watch the replay and go, "ah eff"

If he is done then that sucks. Im just being optimistic with the knowledge that he used to get very upset about slight injuries like jammed fingers while going for a rebound.  He wears his emotions on his sleeves, I love him for it. So yeah if something bad happens he won't hide any concern.

I actually tore my LCL and grabbed the same part of my knee.  So while it is 95% it is an ACL there is a chance it is LCL.  Really the best we could hope for is that it is a partially torn LCL.  That would possibly get him back for the bowl game in January.
