So, the new neighbor moved in this week. We went over and said hi and introduced ourselves. They seemed nice, but their kids are out of control. Our kids played in the yard for awhile. Then they wanted to go up to the third floor of the new house since it was empty and check it out. Whatever, that is fine, go ahead and play. Forty five minutes later I went over to get my kids. Rang the doorbell, kids run down the stairs and open the door, and out comes a pitbull onto the front porch.

Should I move? (serious question)

They are illegal inside city limits in a lot of places. Also, a lot of insurance companies won't cover ppl who own them for home owners ins.

Report them to both.

Make enough troubs for them to leave or lose the dog.

Yeah, probably.

Already have other kids across the street that are worse, so if I was going to move due to rotten kids/horrible parenting I would have already done so.

Just keep an eye out your window. If the dog ever gets near your yard, send your kids outside. Then you are within your legal rights to issue judgement to the dog.

Kill it, then sell your house before they get a new one. If they get a new one while your house is still on the market, kill that one too.

Definitely kill it, but don't sell your house. What if somebody else who has small children buys the house and doesn't have the stomach to judge the wicked animals of this world? You need to stay there and continue to judge every dog that family buys until they learn that your family is not to be messed with.

There is no good way off a pitbull without getting yourself in trouble. Best way is to get a large pistol, let the dog out, then call animal control. Use the pistol for protection if needed, or else just monitor it until animal control gets there.

(If you can't tell, I've thought a lot about this. This is my plan for when I have kids to get rid of the pitbull in the house behind mine, but I live in an open carry state so no one can ask me why I was carrying in the first place.)

The pros always overcharge and sometimes they don't even treat your property with the proper respect.
