SD, I watched a documentary the other night about mermaids. These scientists claimed that they had evidence that mermaids were in fact real beings, but the US government shut them down or something because they didn't want that kind of information getting out to the general public. What do you know about this and do you believe that mermaids are in fact real? TIA
Does the US support terrorism given the tactics of the Nicaraguan Contras in the 80s?
was the '53 Iran coup for the benefit of the company that would become BP?WAs it the first democratically elected gov in Persian history?

The government has done a lot in it's history that benefitted "terrorism" but most wasn't done for that reason. Many times it is seen as a side effect of other actions.

I assume you were referring to the second part (i.e. first democratically elected blah blah) or were pointing out that it wasn't just for the benefit of the Anglo-Persian oil company but also for all Western countries who had oil interests in Middle Eastern countries and did not want to see those interests nationalized.
