other than clemente and 5'7" mid-major pgs, who isn't subpar at the runner?  it's not a shot american basketball players use.

I agree, but Pullen seems to be shooting more of them lately and proving your point. 

At least against us, a major design of UNLV's offense seemed to be to get runners in the lane.

Not sure what game you guys were watching, but it wasn't the same one I did.  Pullen completely outlplayed Collins and really shut him down offensively except for a couple drives to the basket for which our bigs were late rotating over on.  Clemente was very good yesterday and did keep us in the game, but Jake hit some big 3's and played well enough for us to win.  The problem yesterday was losing rough ridin' Tyrel Reid over and over again fo big 3's and the Morris twins dominating us yet again.  Alrdrich didn't do crap.  We play good D on him, make him shoot over a hand and he isn't that good.  He changes shots on the defensive end, but HE IS NOT A DOMINATE COLLEGE PLAYER!  The game was lost by ltting the Morris twins continually get position and get O Boardsand putbacks.  It was the same game, again for the 3rd time.  KU is better and deaper than us and their frontcourt wins them the games against us.  We'll be fine in the tourney!
