Weird part of Youtube
« on: June 22, 2012, 05:12:03 PM »
Ever go to youtube to look up something of interest then randomly find yourself in the weird and confusing part of youtube?

Last night I somehow ended up in the area of conspiracy theories on youtube in America. I think they're very very weird and flustering. Do any of you believe in conspiracy theories? If so, why? I don't believe in them personally, but I'm just curious.

I think most conspiracy theories are exaggerated & paranoid truths - and the rest are just rough ridin' nuts or Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).   I love watching these and looking for what I could believe as a truth then laughing about how the video creator came to such an absurd assumption.

I love the strange part of YouTube, btw.

ok, like last night I found myself in all the conspiracy theories about 9/11.

1.) That the whole 9/11 attack was by the U.S. government and how bombs were pre-planted in the towers.
2.) That Osama Bin Laden was really a U.S. CIA agent from the 70's name Tim Osman
3.) That flight 93 was shot down by a U.S. jet fighter plane bc the people on board found out about the attacks by the U.S.
4.) How the Pentagon wasn't hit by a plane.
5.) Also, that TV Shows and Movies gave out hints of the attacks of 9/11 before it happened.

Some other things I found:
1.) There's a patent number for the cure for aids.
2.) A U.S. official shot Kennedy or something like that.

then just some other weird stuff.

Please Add in and give your thoughts...

My assessment to these conspiracy theories.

ok, like last night I found myself in all the conspiracy theories about 9/11.

1.) That the whole 9/11 attack was by the U.S. government and how bombs were pre-planted in the towers.  - rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
2.) That Osama Bin Laden was really a U.S. CIA agent from the 70's name Tim Osman - rough ridin' nuts
3.) That flight 93 was shot down by a U.S. jet fighter plane bc the people on board found out about the attacks by the U.S. - exagerated... I believe it was shot down over the ocean because they lost radio communication with the flight and assumed it was taken over by terrorist.
4.) How the Pentagon wasn't hit by a plane.   - I don't believe it was hit by a plane - and I think they used this as a cover because of all of the questions that would have been raised by the US shooting down a commercial plane based off of probably cause alone.
5.) Also, that TV Shows and Movies gave out hints of the attacks of 9/11 before it happened. - rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  I bet you could find hints to 9/11 in a copy of the bible or Moby dick.

Some other things I found:
1.) There's a patent number for the cure for aids. -Never heard that but it sounds hilarious.
2.) A U.S. official shot Kennedy or something like that. - anyone that denies that any assassination is not a conspiracy doesn't understand what a conspiracy is, so you have to question who was behind it.  I don't believe it was a U.S. official but I would question however, why was he assassinated not long after silver certificates went into circulation; coupled with, why there was a official of the banking industry assigned to be part of the team of investigators?  Seems odd.

then just some other weird stuff.

More details on this: So you think the pentagon was caused by a bomb? Then what happened to the so-called plane that hit it? And am I getting my planes mixed up? The one that went down in Pennsylvania is the one where the passengers supposedly found out about the U.S attacks on the U.S. and the Fighter jet took out.

Oops... my mistake.  I don't remember which flights were which and I mixed them up.   The one that supposedly hit the pentagon, flight 77, is the one I think was shot down over the ocean.   The one that went down in Pennsylvania...  whoever thinks that was shot down is a rough ridin' moron.

But the pentagon, I think the damage would have been much worse if a 757 hit it .   I think it was hit by a missile from a fighter jet - likely the same fighter jets that were instructed to shoot down the unresponsive flight 77.   I think it would have been very difficult for an inexperienced pilot to hit something as small as the pentagon at the speed suggested, and it was odd that it was a side of the building that was being renovated - so casualties were limited, and the aforementioned incredible lack of damage that would have been caused by a 757 hitting a building.

There's not much substance to a 757. I've seen 20 women pull a 757 50 feet in minute. Remember that the two aircraft that hit the two towers did very little damage on the impact alone.

Edit: I re-read this and it didn't sound right. I'm saying why I think it didn't look like much damaged at the Pentagon. I'm not saying "look at how little damage was done and the towers still fell." I know the jet fuel fires coupled with the fire-retardent foam being knock off the beams caused the towers to fall.

I'm not certain enough to make a fool of myself and say "there's no way it was a 757 that hit the pentagon" - but there's been enough to make me question whether it was or not.   Look at this wreckage footage... where's the airplane debris?

But it's not very tall - a 757 is nearly as tall as the pentagon.   What I'm saying is it would have taken an experienced pilot to fly into it so perfectly at 500 mph.

Again; I'm not confident in this theory enough to say one way or the other, but there's enough to make me question all stories.

The scariest part of threads like this one is not the fact that some of the things posted could be true (they aren't), it's that I'm not sure who is joking and who is serious about the veracity of the the things posted.

No, and I don't see a lot of questions being asked.

FYI, in libtard la-la land asking questions will get you labeled a racist, homophobe, etc.

At least stuff like the birth certificate or the 2000 election are mostly relegated to just fringy/political types. I know some very rational, intelligent, and successful people who believe some very stupid crap about 9/11.

there have been hundreds of eye witness accounts of a plane hitting the pentagon.

barking up the wrong tree on this one.

scary i agree with FSD on something.

the thing that makes me mostly not believe conspiricys is the fact that the government can't keep anything secret.

after watching stuff about how the reinforcing the pentagon during the reno I believe the plane acted more like a antitank shape  charge, essentially funneling the blast and debris into the building.  Also after watching good stuff on natgeo with people following evacuees out of the area, the reactions are too genuine when talking about a plane hitting.

Also if you look at many of the videos they use odd angles to prove their points.  Like the claim that the law would be ruined but looks to uniform, you look at clips and it does look very uniform, than you look at another clip  zoomed out further and you see a wide swath of disturbed lawn.
