The refs had nothing to do with it.  KU is just really good.  Stop embarrassing yourself.   We have nothing to be bummed about.  Tomorrow, we don't have to cross our fingers and hope. 

Go back to ksufans.com with that "whining about the refs" trash.

Nobody said ku wasn't good.

Just very surprising that in a game of this type, that one team doesn't go to the line at all in the first half.   I recognize K-State fouls a lot, but also draws a lot of fouls as well.

crap happens.  There weren't any calls in this game that were blatantly wrong.  The bottom line is that KU is a horrible match-up for us.  Yeah, it sucks, but what can you do?

you can do whatever you want. i personally don't dislike ku much (if any) more than i dislike other big12 schools. i hope they all die. all of the time. so if this is what you're getting at, then yeah...i'm in.

KU suffered some really, really stupid calls that ultimately had little effect on the outcome of the game...it was just kinda  :lol: and  :facepalm: at the same time to watch the B12 refs do their "work". KSU has a (IMO legitimate) beef with not getting to the foul line enough, but ultimately they should have stopped KU when they had the chance on defense. They didn't.

Consensus: B12 refs are stupid and stuff :surprised:

Of course it bothers me.  I don't like to see the Khatz lose.  But not bummed.  Not like losing this game was a shock.

ku was immanently beatable and that had nothing to do with refs, K-State just didn't finish and hit shots.

Our Oreb% was pretty much identical to theirs. 

There is absolutely no disputing that this game was won based on Kansas' ability to get to the free throw line, coupled with the Doberman's inability to do the same.

KU brings a extra level of physicality to the game. And that is to their credit. However, if your team decides to say, "ok f it. Let's rumble." the refs just flat out put a stop to it. They won't let you match them physically. I think it tears the cats up mentally because our guys want to dig in and give them a piece of their own medicine. So when they're not allowed to it becomes extremely frustrating/flustering. Understandably so IMO.

not bitching...just thought it was interesting when watching the sportscenter replay that each time ku drove for a basket one of the refs would begin to raise his fist as if about to call a foul. thank god they didn't actually blow the whistle. score would have looked very lopsided.
