this is going to be great. everybody go to the la hacienda in your town (if you have one) and eat it this week. report back and also take a pic of the menu and post so we can try to pick a best la hacienda. i can't imagine one is better than the one in mhk but who knows maybe we stumble onto something.

oh boy.  just got back from LH where i ordered something they call the "big breakfast"

it's pretty much your standard fare - pancakes, some eggs, a hashbrown, a biscuit, a sausage.  a++!

O man, a 7 day panchos challege is not even on the same level as the chipolte challenge. Its like comparing the running of the bulls to to a 4th of july parade.

panchos is pretty terrible.  but i do know some people who like to eat it when they're boozed up.

if you want really quality mexican food in kc, pm me for deets and i'll hook you up with some tribal knowledge that  will blow your mind, son.

I havent had panchos in about 2 years, my body thanks me every day.

On a side note the last time i went to the location on 87th and 35 the entire restaurant smelled like a dirty bathroom.

yeah, i'm just sure you will. cutting edge clams is what i always say. my guess is that you were just going to talk more about the el pollo rey place in kc that you just discovered and won't stop talking about? newsflash-they also have one in boise idaho genius.

  yeah. that's umm, like, that's kind of what i was getting at dumbass. i remember having some el pollo rey when i was in austin several years ago so it's kind of funny for me when they opened one up in kansas city and all the kansas city hayseed dumbasses that fawn all over it and act like they discovered something unique or interesting. it's just pretty funny for me to watch and listen to them talk about that chicken is all. funny dumbass hayseeds thinking they got something good or neat when it's basically the austin version of popeyes. oh well.

yeah it's basically just a whole chicken or a half chicken. you totally have to go, it's to die. plus it's in a sketchy part of town and i'm pretty sure they're actual mexicans!
